İbrahim Demir. Was born 1980 in Izmir Turkey. He studied Art History and Plastic Grafic Arts at Buca Art Faculty of Education (1999 - 2004). After of your Graduation, worked as Assistant artist at the Gallery of Seba UGURTAN. Participated various live performances and exhibitions with various artists (Water Group). 2009 Moved to Colombia Bogotá. Created his personal studio and working on Sculptures, engraving and exlibrises since then. The present work is a construction ibrahim Demir from universal concepts such as music and literature , materialization of the human figure. Each musical composition or work of literature is represented essentially in creating figures. The paper represents the fragility of knowledge , temporality of matter and retention of ideas. With the use of musical scores or the pages of a book , the artist constructs his sculpture representing their own point of view on the work. The sculptures remain fragile and transparent medium , appearance that allows the viewer to embark on a visual journey into and out of the sculpture. In the construction of the concept the author mixed experiences of modern art and contemporary with classic figurative aesthetics.
